Its safe to say Zoom was established here as a major force, and one that Barry Allen will struggle to compete with. In fact, the Scarlet Speedster takes a beating of legendary proportions that is up there with any whipping that weve seen a hero take on the big or small screen in recent years. Zoom batters Barry brutally from pillar to post, pretty much breaks his back, and then proceeds to show off his handy work by taking The Flash to Central City Picture News, to CCPD HQ, and then to S.T.A.R. Labs. What were left with is a Barry Allen that is a truly broken man and somebody who is up against some serious odds that he may not be able to overcome regardless of who he calls in to help him.
