Fast Lane was certainly an up and down episode of The CW's The Flash. This latest outing was great in how it used Harrison Wells and, to a lesser extent, uber-villain Zoom, but it fell flat when the attention turned to villain-of-the-week Tar Pit. Unfortunately, the sticky situation surrounding Tar Pit was extremely throwaway and almost took away from some of the episode's better moments. Luckily, as ever, Tom Cavanagh's Harrison Wells was around to devour any scenery that needed chewing. In a surprise twist, we saw Wells actually go through with his plan to betray The Flash and steal his speed on behalf of Zoom, but then the bigger shocker came in the form of Harry revealing his wrongdoings to the Scarlet Speedster and the rest of the S.T.A.R. Labs crew. Even with a sub-par villain at the centre of a lot of the action, Fast Lane still managed to be filled with plenty of WTF moments, and here's the very best of them.
14. Take Your Time
So, whilst Tar Pit may have been one of the least memorable villains weve seen so far in The Flash, were to believe that it took this rogue 2 years to surface? Sure we are. In terms of villains-of-the-week, they dont get any more villain-of-the-week than poor Tar Pit, but it was still WTF of the show to expect us to believe that this bad guy has been lurking in the background, out of the eye line of our S.T.A.R. Labs crew. Whats he been doing all this time? Whats been the hold up? Regardless of Tar Pits problems, at least we had some Zoom and plenty of creepy Wells in this latest Flash outing.
