Much like Vandal Savage arrived with a bang in Legends of Today, so too did Hawkman. Literally swooping down out of nowhere, the debuting hero flew down from the skies to collect his one true from the clutches of Cisco Ramon. What followed was a brilliant butting of heads, initially between Hawkman and Green Arrow before The Flash joined the fight to help out the Emerald Archer. It would take the teaming up of these two heroes, not to mention a timely lightning punch from Barry, to finally take down Hawkman. This debut certainly made Hawkman, a character so often treated as a side dish in the comic book world, look like a main event player in the world of Arrow and The Flash.
