Having arrived from Earth-2 at the start of Season 2, Jay Garrick has had a hard time of it adapting to the non-superhero life as his famed superspeed is no longer a power that he can summon. Luckily for Jay, he gets his speed back during Legends of Tonight, even though it is only a brief burst of power and it totally goes against what he believes in. With Harrison Wells on his deathbed, Garrick has no real choice but to take Wells Velocity 6 serum and uses his temporary superspeed to phase through Wells chest and remove the bullet. The Velocity 6 may have only been a temporary measure for Garrick, but it looks as if Wells latest serum is going to be playing a big role going forward.
