Running to Stand Still was full of many awesome moments, and the teaming up of Weather Wizard and The Trickster was certainly one of them, even if Captain Cold decided against joining these rogues in their joint venture to take down The Flash. In amongst the shocks here apart from how powerful and impressive Weather Wizard had now become was what looked to be a very public death for Barry Allen. Of course, The CW would be plain stupid to kill off the Scarlet Speedster, but for a second there, just a second, it looked as if it was curtains for our hero as a defenseless Barry was brutally beaten to near-death by Weather Wizard. Even though Barry obviously survived this attack, it was still a major surprise to see the end appear so near for the Sultan of Speed, especially at the hands of a villain who was previously depicted as mere villain-of-the-week fodder.
