20. Midway City

Midway City, first mentioned last year as a place Ronnie Raymond lived under an assumed name, gets another shoutout during Season 2.

It's home to the university that Patty Spivot is accepted into, finally taking the opportunity four years later and leaving Central City and Barry behind to join their Forensic Sciences programme.

In the comics, Midway City is the base of operations for Hawkman and Hawkgirl, both of whom debuted on The Flash this year before joining Legends of Tomorrow (although Midway wasn't mentioned). It's also home to the Doom Patrol, a superteam of outcasts yet to appear on the series (and I'm not suggesting they ever will).
