The Flash Season 2: 8 Ups And 3 Downs From 'Rupture'
3. Downs...
Henry’s Attitude

Okay, so Henry Allen spent over a decade locked up in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Then he gets redeemed and is a free man, with the obvious thought process being to spend some time with the son he’s been locked away from for all these years.
Henry instead deciding to take some “me time” earlier this season didn’t sit too well with most viewers, and in Rupture his attitude was even more questionable.
Specifically, Henry arguing with Wells over the dangers that he’s put Barry in, of the dangers that Barry puts himself in every day. It’s kinda hard really for Henry to get on his high horse and berate others when, y’know, he totally took a back seat in his son’s life the moment he got a whiff of freedom.
