8. Walter West

Given The Flash’s penchant for alternative worlds and timeline alterations, that pretty much means anything is fair game when it comes to just who could be turning up in Central City at any point. And much like this world has a Wally West, so do many other worlds out there. One such alternative is Walter West.

Walter is a version of Wally who turned up in the DC Universe under the moniker of Dark Flash. Whilst the standard Wally is married to Linda Park, Walter’s Linda sadly died. As ever with many a hero over the years, this loss drove Walter to the edge of his sanity, becoming a brutal, darker version of The Flash who pulls no punches when it comes to stopping bad guys by the most clinical methods deemed necessary.

Not only did Walter's presence cause unrest due to his harsh methods, him just simply being in the main DC world meant that timelines and realities started to all blend into one.

With us having already seen an alternative Barry Allen in the show, could it be that Wally West’s doppelganger may also make an appearance in The Flash’s upcoming season? Stranger things have happened.
