10. Back To The Future

If you thought that the plot of the episode was vaguely familiar, well that's because it was somewhat reminiscent of the iconic film Back To The Future - in which a young Marty McFly ends up travelling back in time to before he was born and accidentally disrupts his parents' destiny, nearly erasing himself from existence.

Similarly, in The Flash's Season 5 premiere, Nora travelled into her past and interacted with her own parents long before she was even born. As Barry correctly pointed out, if she were to disrupt the timeline, "she could Marty McFly herself out of existence". Not only does that demonstrate immense character growth on Barry's part, it also reminds the viewers just how delicate time travel really is.

Hilariously, Iris thought Barry was talking about another legendary time travel movie, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Pretty sure none of them would want anything like that to happen either.
