"We've been sent good weather," recited June at the end of the last episode of The Handmaid's Tale. But where does she go from here?

There are few words to describe Seeds. Exhilarating. Heart-racing. Mind-blowing. But none of them seem to do this episode justice. Picking up from where we left off last week, Seeds finds June performing the role of the dutiful handmaid down to a tee.

The fact that Season 2 has three extra episodes is paying off nicely, as it's allowing the producers more time to fully develop the narrative. In other words, there's plenty of room to see June tortured by her captors. But, because she can't physically abuse her due to her pregnancy, Serena Waterford turns up the psychological torture this week, and it ultimately affects the baby.

In addition to this, we also caught up with Emily and Janine, who are doing all they can to survive at the horrifying Colonies.

While not the best episode we've had this season, Seeds is an important point in the narrative for The Handmaid's Tale. Everything that comes next is make or break for June, but what's her next step?
