After a stellar offering with Chapter 11 last week - which saw the introduction of Bo-Katan, the return of Moff Gideon and Ahsoka Tano name-dropped as well - all eyes were on Chapter 12 of The Mandalorian to keep the momentum going.

Unfortunately the fourth episode of The Mandalorian's second season doesn't quite manage to reach the lofty heights of the previous episode, instead delivering a moderately entertaining, if not typical instalment, with a couple of exciting revelations thrown in for good measure. It's not too disappointing, but Season 2 is beginning to settle into a familiar pattern, and one that really threatens to derail its momentum.

Chapter 12, or "The Siege", was directed by Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) and picks up with Din Djarin and The Child attempting to make repairs on the Razor Crest. The Mon Calamari from last week's episode had done a patchy job, and before you know it Din and his ward are forced to land on Nevarro, the planet where the two first crossed paths.

Upon arriving, Din meets up with Greef, who tells him of a nearby Imperial base that poses a threat to the now rejuvenated area... or so it would seem. With plenty of action though and a deep cut of a final reveal, here are '5 Ups and 2 Downs' from The Mandalorian Chapter 12.
