After a mostly disappointing episode last week, today's instalment of The Mandalorian - titled "The Heiress" - definitely felt like something of a return to form. Rather than focusing too much on The Child and his strange appetites, Chapter 11 finally put standalone side missions on the back burner, and moved the story along in a big way.

Fans of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels no doubt had a huge grin on their face from start to finish, and while the episode ran for just a scant 31 minutes, writer Jon Favreau crammed in a lot of story (which was wonderfully executed by director Bryce Dallas Howard).

There's a lot to unpack in this episode of The Mandalorian, and if you found yourself getting lost with some of the cameos and references, we definitely have you covered.

With that in mind, this feature takes a closer look at all of the biggest moments, surprises, and reveals, including some thoughts on where things could go next for Din Djarin and The Child now the bounty hunter is finally one step closer to achieving the mission he's been tasked with. However, with Moff Gideon once again nipping at his heels, it might not be that easy in the weeks to come...

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

10. Crash Landing

The Razor Crest is not in good shape following the events of "The Passenger," and Din Djarin has no other choice than to basically crash-land on Trask. As the ship start burning up as it enters the planet's atmosphere, the bounty hunter manages to right its course near the watery surface... only for an engine to explode and it to fall straight into the sea!

After it's pulled out of the water, Din tasks a local Mon Calamari with repairing it, and Frog Lady makes good on her promise to point Din in the direction of his fellow Mandalorians (after she finally reunites with her other half).

Heading to a local bar, the hero is being watched from the shadows by a woman in a cloak. For those of you who are wrestling fans, you'll instantly recognise her as WWE Superstar Sasha Banks, while you'll all no doubt be aware that the prevailing theory online is that she's playing Sabine Wren.

That's not actually the case, though we'll get to her true identity a little later...
