10. Devon

The fact that you've likely forgotten him is precisely what makes this character so funny. Poor Devon White did not have a good time at Dunder Mifflin, as, for the most part, he was a glorified extra until a hilarious yet shocking moment brought him to the forefront of the show.

This staff member was seen frequently throughout the earlier seasons working in the background, with one or two moments calling him out by name. But, he'd get his biggest break in the episode "Halloween" where he'd end up being fired by Michael after he was forced to make budget cuts.

It was a hilarious moment, not only because Devon reacted childishly by smashing a pumpkin on Michael's car, but because the choice to fire Devon was so anticlimactic, as viewers probably had no idea who he was. It was a hilarious reference to the fact that the main cast were not the only staff at Dunder Mifflin.

Still, Devon got a happy ending as he was hired back by Dwight in the final episode, as Creed had faked his death, and they apparently had incredibly similar jobs. Not too shabby for the victim of Michael's downsizing.
