5. The Actors Are Constantly Playing Solitaire For Real
During the earlier seasons in particular, it's extremely common to see the various office members playing Solitaire on their computers, but this was actually a result of the cast members simply being bored during production downtime.

The earlier seasons of the show didn't yet have the office set wired for Internet, and so the cast were only able to use offline apps such as Solitaire.
Once the office was online in later seasons, though, any cast member whose computer screen wasn't facing the camera for a particular scene was encouraged to browse the Internet, pay their bills, and basically do anything that made them look like an actual employee.
