10. Stanley Was A Member Of The Black Panthers

In season five's "Weight Loss," Stanley shows the camera crew a picture of himself in his younger, leaner days, while commenting, "Here's what I used to look like. Look at those biceps. We were fighting the power and eating whatever we wanted."

While at first glance this might simply seem like a neat period photo, the clothing and posing style is extremely similar to activists the Black Panthers during their most prevalent period from the late '60s through to the early '80s.

Given that Stanley literally mentions "fighting the power," it's a brilliant sliver of character development hidden for all to see.
