While its not a major story arc, the Scranton Strangler has been a recurring character throughout The Offices run. Never seen but yet often mentioned, it would only be fitting that someone within Dunder Mifflin is actually the Strangler. Of course, the prime candidate for this would be Toby Flenderson. I would actually be quite disappointed now if it didnt turn out to be him. Im sure everyone can envision Michael Scott shouting, I knew it! at his television whilst watching him on a news broadcast. That thought alone makes Toby being the Scranton Strangler worth it.
