The Office: 8 Things That Needs Resolving Before The End

4. Jim€™s Company

Later in this article, I will ponder the fate of Jim€™s relationship with Pam. But the catalyst for the recent friction between the couple has been Jim€™s venture into his own company, whilst trying to juggle his (now part-time) job at Dunder Mifflin and his family in Scranton. It€™s a story that is all too familiar with some, but I would like nothing more than to see Jim become a success. Since the pilot episode, Jim always considered his job as a Paper Salesman to be just that €“ not a career. When it started developing into one, Jim didn€™t have the motivation or desire to move further up the Dunder Mifflin hierarchy. Now that Jim is living his dream, the only happy resolution for the character would be to be successful and also have a happy family at home €“ but that may mean that Pam would need to make some big decisions of her own. This also ties in with Darryl€™s story, which has always been to try and make something of himself despite his own shortcomings. He failed with his interview to be Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin in Season 7 and he nearly failed his interview with Jim€™s company. Will this finally be his big break?
