1. RIP Stan Lee

If you stick around for a few moments past the end of the season finale, you'll be greeted with a brief "in loving memory" placard for Stan Lee, who of course passed away late last year and has already been eulogised in countless comic book projects since.

Though Lee didn't create the character, he was responsible for his name, after writer Gerry Conway originally planned to go with The Assassin, which Lee vetoed for its obviously murderous connotations.

With Captain Marvel and Avengers: Infinity War due to drop within the next few months, it's likely that the Stan Lee tributes are far from over, to say nothing of the cameos, of course.
