One of the skills the Simpsons writers honed over the years was an ability to sneak dirty words past the censors, like this little doozy from season seven

In the episode Much Apu About Nothing, the Kwik-E-Mart owner casually mentions that he completed his PhD at the Springfield Heights Institute of Technology, a college with some of the most unfortunate initials ever.

This is just one of the times the show's writers had fun with acronyms. Other examples include the not-so-undercover Flowers By Irene van and the controversial abbreviation of Krusty's Komedy Klassic, not that anything else about the clown is family friendly.
