Season 12 - Episode 18 Probably the best episode of season 12, and unlike anything The Simpsons had done before: "Trilogy of Error" was The Simpsons answer to Run, Lola, Run. It was told in three parts, from three perspectives, all of which intertwined to tell a full story. It was fast-paced, and included multiple classic lines (Dr. Nick exclaiming "Inflammable means flammable? What a country!" Yakov Smirnoff-style, grammar robot Linguo correcting mobster's sentences). And despite Mr. Teeny's warning at the end, the plot actually did make sense. Bonus. Why is it overlooked? It's probably a little too different, and happened to come in a season that had some real stinkers ("New Kids on the Blecch" with the horrible N'SYNC cameo and Navy storyline, for example).
