Season 23 - Episode 11 A fantastic spoof of The Social Network and how much Facebook has taken over our lives, "The D'oh-cial Network" proved that even now, The Simpsons can knock one out of the park. This episode hung around our DVRs for months on end. Gags like Hans Moleman being hit by a car then jabbing "dislike" on his tablet while still flying through the air worked, and worked well. As did the "ambulance" arriving - to save the tablet. Lisa finally having a ton of friends but still being lonely - perfect. So why was this overlooked? Frankly, because people forget that the show can still produce classics, and because the subject - living our lives online and forgetting the world around us - might just hit home a little too hard for certain fans (who are no doubt currently preparing "worst article ever!" style comments).
