The Episode: Thank You The first few episodes of the season weren't too kind to the various citizens of Alexandria outside of our core group. David was no exception, though he at least got to share a little backstory about himself and his post-apocalypse wife Betsy with Michonne shortly after being bitten in the back. While Michonne promised he'd get home to say his goodbyes to Betsy, he ultimately ended up pinned against a gate and torn into by walkers as his companions watched. Though Michonne oddly didn't use her katana to put him out of his misery, Glenn later came across a reanimated David - and the note the man had written for Betsy - and put a knife in his head.
