Maggie could soon be making a dash to become the leading lady of The Walking Dead. Carol does the dirty work, Michonne is a warrior, Deanna 'was' in charge, Jessie could develop into a popular character, while Sasha, Tara, and Rosita are largely tedious characters with very little evidence to suggest they're going to play important roles. Meanwhile, Maggie sits as a very well-rounded individual. She's hardened to trauma, adapted to the wild world, yet she clings to humanity and keeps a cool, diplomatic head. There aren't many characters with Maggie's leadership credentials, and she acts as a representative for the survivors' group in Alexandria. Could she make a push for the top seat in Alexandria if Deanna can't cope with the new community?
