Morgan is one of the biggest cult heroes to barely appear in the show. He was a star of the pilot episode, but since then he appeared in one deranged Season 3 episode before returning in tiny teasers throughout Season 5 leading to his eventual brief reunion with Rick. AMC seem to be really pushing Morgan to the audience, so that can mean one of two things: He's a main character of the season, or he's in for a brutal, shocking death immediately. It seems highly unlikely they'll bump him off after such a buildup, so expect to see a Morgan-centric first half of the season. He's a man of peace now, but he's also realistic. I think he does understand Rick's logic and mindset, it's how he chooses to respond that will define him. Will Morgan defend Rick, or change him?
