When Daryl Dixon slices the heads of three walkers with one slash of a rusty chain, you don't question it, you savour it. Yes it was ridiculous, and surely not even possible if you stick to the laws of physics, but it's over-the-top, sensational moments that add to the cult-status of the show and its most popular characters. Whether it be plunging blunt objects through their faces or mushing them into the ground with a fire engine hose, those walkers sure know how to die in spectacular fashions, and fans want more. The show paints a gritty picture of life after the catastrophe, but that is balanced out with some epic kills on the bloody, undead punchbags. Long may the sensational, ludicrous, 'ooooh'-inducing scenes continue.
