11. Shiva's Sacrifice

At this point, Shiva is one of the best damn characters still kicking on the TV show. Eating up 90% of the special effects budget, Ezekiel's pet tiger has more personality than the majority of the key Alexandrians viewers have met so far, and has quickly become a fan-favourite since her first appearance in season 7.

Unfortunately, Shiva is one of the biggest casualties of All Out War in the comics. She doesn't go out like any old chump though, and actually saves Ezekiel from a heard of zombies who are seconds away from overwhelming him. Tearing into the undead, Zeke just gets out of the fray in time to turn around and see her being devoured by the horde.

It's genuinely heartbreaking, but the scene is almost guaranteed to show up at some point during season 8. While it's a key moment in the original arc, its appearance is also a sure-fire bet because AMC loves saving money, and if they were going to push one comic book moment, it would definitely be the one that lowers the cost of the special effects they have to pay for.
