12. An Explanation!

When Glenn was fighting Nicholas in that forest, he was pinned down in some kind of zombie pile-on, and you genuinely though: "This is it, this is the end for Glenn, may he rest in pieces."

But somehow, miraculously, he escaped the pile up, without even firing his gun, and went on to hunt down Nicholas and nearly decide to kill him, only to show him mercy at the last second. 

Most of us watching the show have seen enough episodes by now to know that characters, however important, however vital to the plot, or however popular, do not just survive those kind of odds.

Rick nearly bit the dust in a very similar circumstance in the very same episode, but managed to fight off the walker he was pinned under. But we got to see that. So we know exactly how he wrestled with it and then brought it's 'life' to a messy and gruesome end.

But we have no such proof with Glenn. He should definitely be dead. We need some kind of explanation, be it a fireside heart-to-heart with Maggie, a shouting match with Deanna, or a series of flashbacks. AMC writers and producers, if you are reading this, your viewers demand an explanation.
