It took a long time for Beth to evolve into a real character. Kidnapped by members of the Grady group, Beth found herself up against indentured servitude, rapists and the unstable Dawn in the fifth season before finally being reunited with her group in "Coda".

Despite being so close to freedom, Beth fell victim to overconfidence, putting scissors into Dawn and receiving a bullet in return.
