The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Questions We’re Asking After ‘East'

5. What's Going On With Maggie's Baby?

Okay, so Maggie keeled over in pain. It wasn't a joyous "the baby's coming" pain, that felt like some severe hurt she was going through. Just a couple of months passed between the mid-season premiere and the following episode, so not nearly enough time has passed for her to be due to give birth.

Besides, the baby bump was hardly visible, so is Maggie about to endure one of the most-heartbreaking losses of the entire series? The only other childbirth storyline was Lori bringing Judith into the world via a pool of blood. It was Maggie who delivered the baby, and the speed of the situation left Lori with no chance of survival.

This really doesn't look good for Maggie. She's in a comfortable location, but they simply don't have the equipment available to deal with a premature baby, unless dramatic help arrives from the Hilltop doctor. Is there enough time to save the child's life (if Maggie is indeed in labour)?
