The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 6 Got Right

3. The Cherokee Rose

Did you spot it? For all you non-chocolate easter egg lovers out there, here is the latest in a long line of throwbacks, nods, and references to previous episodes. The cherokee rose. In one beautiful moment between Carol and Daryl, we saw him explain that the flower was said to bloom as a symbol of hope following the death of a loved one. In Carol's case, this was her poor daughter Sophia. The pair have grown closer ever since, and Daryl would've remembered that conversation completely after seeing the flower protruding rom the walker's back of all places. I wouldn't look too deeply into what it means, but it was a nice touch nevertheless.
