3. Will Carol Ever Fully Recover?

Carol is on her way back to full physical health, but what about mental? Last year she started to break down over how many people she killed, and it's not a life she wants to return to. For that reason, she doesn't want to be around anyone, because then she'll be forced into protecting them.

The decision to accept Ezekiel's offer of going and not going may be pertinent for the character. It suggests something of a compromise, which may factor into later decisions.

Are we ever going to see a return to the full Rambo-like Carol? It seems unlikely now. But perhaps a Carol who is prepared to kill when absolutely necessary - which it's probably going to be in the battle against Negan.
