When Enid and Maggie are reunited in Season 7, the first time since Glenn's death that they've seen each other, it's an emotional moment for both characters, and they hug it out by his makeshift grave.

It's also a moment that pays homage to the comics, and more specifically the cover of The Walking Dead #109. There, however, it's Maggie hugging Sophia, who is still very much alive at that point, whereas on the show she died way back in Season 2. Though not an exact replacement, there are signs of Enid taking on some of her character's arc, and this is the clearest example.
