The Walking Dead Season 7: 5 Things You Missed In 'Sing Me A Song'

What did Carl whisper to Daryl?

The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 7 delved deeper into the world of Negan and the Saviours, their messed up hierarchy, their oppressed way of life.

After dabbling in the Oceanside community, the show got back to its 'major' storyline, picking up with Carl's infiltration of the Sanctuary and assassination attempt. That went about as well as expected (because Carl), but the rest of the episode was a step up on recent weeks.

With storylines at last converging, it felt more relevant than some of the previous 'one-location' instalments. At sixty minutes it was a bit too long, but within those minutes were a bundle of moments that you may have missed while you were too busy appreciating your smooth, un-ironed face...

Sing Me A Song included a nod to previous episodes, another subtle hint at a character's death, and a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment between Carl and Daryl that has the internet ablaze.

5. The Electric Car

'Hey guys, so we're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse where the living dead are attracted to noise and fuel is virtually non-existent... Let's get cars!'

Skipping around a fallen USA in any kind of motor really isn't the most practical idea going. Every household will possess a quiet, stealthy pedal bike, but our bunch of survivors much prefer wreaking havoc in gas-guzzling motors.

Apart from Spencer, that is. Even in the depths of a world gone bad, he made the choice to switch into an electric car. It's probably the safest way to get around considering Alexandria's endless power supply. Too bad everyone watching the show forgot he even existed until a couple of weeks back.
