4. The Seeds Of Rebellion Grow Stronger

The show could still be kicking its heels right now, waiting to explode into war with Negan. It's got to round up all of the communities and bring them to Rick's side, but at the same time knows it can't immediately go all-in on that.

So far in 7B it's pacing things pretty well (which is a nice surprise), continuing to ratchet up the rebellion just enough each week so that we should arrive there by the end of the season, but not dragging it out too much either.

We get some solid advancement here, most obviously with Rick and Jadis striking a deal that'll see the Scavengers working with him in return for guns. There's also Richard who, despite willingly putting Carol's life at risk, is the best the Kingdom has to offer for a potential fightback right now. His plan was kinda stupid and never gonna work, but at least he's trying.

Benjamin, too, fights back against the Saviours. And while he gets a telling off, he could be they key to getting Ezekiel involved. Morgan is still refusing, but the king has a real bond with Benjamin, and maybe he can persuade him to fight back (and if not with his words, then his eventual (and almost certain) death surely will).
