16. Michonne

Since her epic arrival in the Season 2 finale, Michonne has grown into one of The Walking Dead's best characters - and even with that, there's still a feeling she hasn't fully tapped into her full potential yet.

Thankfully, there's still a lot more for Michonne to do. She's one of Alexandria's best fighters and has taken on more of a leadership role too, and as Rick's partner is an important part of the major plotline. With Carol off on her own or at the Kingdom, and Maggie leading Hilltop, Michonne is the female lead of Alexandria, and they can't afford to off her (and nor should they).
