The X-Files has come and gone - for now. The revival, however, outperformed all expectations, generating more fan interest, media interest, and turning in better numbers that most could have ever dreamed of. The premiere event was watched by over fifty million people worldwide. The show seemed to pick up in the ratings right where it left off, despite the decline in viewership suffered by most major networks in the wake of the expanded cable universe. There have been talks of additional seasons, a larger episode order, another feature film - lots of options, but little talk of their merits. With that in mind let's examine 10 possible ways The X-Files could return!
