FoxPicture a world where there's a two-part X-Files special every February, or around Halloween time. They have nothing to do with aliens, and everything to do with nasty, insane, scary monsters. That's a pretty cool idea, frankly. The X-Files is just dying to be a strictly anthology show in the eyes of some fans. They don't want ongoing stories, but Monster of the Week outings. So once that pesky mythology is tied up, regardless of what form that takes, occasional specials like this - one, two, three hour installments - are still possible. Would Fox and 1013 see the value in this? After the money this revival made them, hopefully!
