WandaVision: 5 MCU Characters We Could See

5. Doctor Strange

The first appearance we could see in this series is none other than the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange. His second film is scheduled for release in 2022 and Wanda Maximoff is due to appear alongside the titular hero in the Multiverse of Madness. With Maximoff scheduled to be in this movie, it would make sense for her series on Disney+ to begin the path towards that big-screen event.

Many MCU fans and theorists have discussed the potential of the second Doctor Strange movie being an adaptation of the Marvel Comics' story, House of M. This involves Maximoff losing her mind after her children are taken away from her, which then causes her to create her own, 'perfect' reality. This, in turn, begins to create problems in the main reality (Earth-616) that the Avengers and the X-Men have to deal with.

The only contentious issue is whether he would appear in a short scene - just enough to make the audience aware of the wider implications - or whether the 'Sorcerer Supreme' would be granted a longer amount of screentime.

It would make sense for Strange to make a brief cameo appearance in this series, as it would help connect the first Disney+ series to the wider MCU and begin to build hype for the second solo outing for the Master of the Mystic Arts.
