WandaVision Episode 4: 8 INSANE Fan Theories You Need To See
Did WandaVision just tease the MCU's Fantastic Four?! Could Hawkeye and Ant-Man be involved?!
After the first three episodes of WandaVision, all fans had were questions, and lots of them. There were very few answers offered up by Marvel Studios as Wanda and Vision made their way through the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, but this changed with episode four.
'We Interrupt This Program' took the focus of the series away from Wanda and Vision's sitcom life, and flashed the spotlight on those working with SWORD to figure out what was going on. Monica's true identity was revealed, Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis were shown for the first time, and fans were finally allowed to understand the situation going on outside of Westview.
However, despite all these answers, there were of course even more questions posed at the same time. With Marvel fans never happy to just sit back and accept the information they have been given, many have done some digging and have gone to the internet believing they may have answered some of these questions and mapped out the future of the series themselves.
Fan theories are nothing new for the MCU, but WandaVision is the kind of project that has lent itself to such thoughts and ideas more so than most others. Some of these are admittedly a stretch, while some make much more sense, but either way, they are all impossible to ignore.
8. Scott Lang Is Jimmy Woo's Missing Person
There was a potentially big detail revealed towards the start of WandaVision's fourth episode that, thanks to everything that happened after it, was never mentioned again. Jimmy Woo was brought to Westview on a missing persons case, as someone he was supposed to be monitoring in witness protection disappeared.
Even those who knew him had suddenly lost all memory of him in the same way the guards in front of the Westview sign genuinely didn't believe the town itself existed. There is no way this missing person doesn't have a bigger role to play in the series, but who is it?
Jimmy's past appearance in the MCU makes it easy for fans to jump to Scott Lang. He is the only person we have ever seen Woo track before, and though his house arrest sentence was over by the end of Ant-Man & the Wasp, he is still likely to be a person of interest to the FBI.
While it's unclear exactly why Scott would be in witness protection, it would certainly make sense as to why Jimmy was on the case. Should Cassie be in Westview with him, in the same area as Tommy and Billy, this could be the next step in the establishment of a Young Avengers team in the MCU.
