Westworld Season 2: 10 Biggest Twists, Theories & Questions From 'Reunion'
Have you ever seen anything so full of splendour?
Westworld returned last week after taking 2017 off, immediately pulling us back into a maze of different timelines, new narratives, and hosts thinking for themselves.
The first episode largely served to remind us of where everyone was and establish their storylines for the new season: Dolores/Wyatt, following her murder of Dr Ford, is leading a robot uprising to the "valley beyond"; Maeve teamed up with Lee Sizemore in the search for her daughter; the Man in Black is involed in a new game designed just for him, which gives the season its 'The Door' subtitle; and Bernard is taking credit for killing hosts a couple weeks on from all the rest of that.
Episode 2, Reunion, is much better for all that setup being out the way. It doubles-down on all of those plot threads and expands their scope, including more visits to the past along with plenty of surprises.
It's an engrossing hour of television that is once again designed to mess with our heads and spur a new raft of theories and questions, as the door creaks open just a little wider.
It goes without saying, but spoilers for Westworld Season 2 Episode 2.
