It's been a hellishly long wait, but it is almost time to go back online.

Westworld Season 2 is now less than a month away (it premieres on April 22 in the United States), and after a Super Bowl TV spot and an ongoing viral marketing campaign, we've now got a proper, full trailer for the upcoming run of episodes.

The show, which proved to be a huge hit for HBO when it debuted all the way back in 2016, is bringing back almost all of the familiar characters, with the exception (probably) of Anthony Hopkins' Dr Robert Ford, although Ford himself will be seen in some guise or another.

This year is all about robots vs humans, a war the previous season ended on the precipice of. Dolores/Wyatt is leading the charge, with the ever-faithful Teddy by her side, and of course the Man in Black is returning to oppose them.

The trailer brings us another stunning piece of music from Ramin Djawadi (this time, Nirvana's Heart-Shaped Box), lush visuals, A.I. violence, and a lot of clues and reveals about what to expect when the series does return.
