The tall, dark-haired Reginald "Reggie" Mantle is your stereotypical, self-centered jock who, at times, makes it his mission in life to make Archie's life difficult.

In The Show

Reggie, like Dilton Doiley, has been played by two actors (Ross Butler in season one and Charles Melton in season two). However, while the recasting is fairly obvious, both actors, with their tall, athletic builds and dark, combed hair, have nailed the role. Reggie's rivalry with Archie has also been kept intact, but there now seems to be at least some mutual respect.
