Chuck Clayton is coach Clayton's son who sports a similar haircut as his father and, in addition to being one of Riverdale High's standout athletes, is an exceptionally talented artist with a passion for comic books.

In The Show

Chuck, who now wears his hair much shorter (again, like his father), is still one of the school's star athletes, but his identity as an artist has been done away with. Rather, Chuck is now portrayed as an egotistical jock who experiences a fall from grace when Betty and Veronica expose him as a manipulator who shames women for cheap laughs.
