5. Five Assassinates The President

If the show continues to stick close to the source material, the events of season two will focus around the assassination of President John F Kennedy. The story takes us back to Five's time working for The Commission, who are a company of time-traveling assassins. Having made a name for himself as the best within the organisation, this will be the last job Five works for them.

As we delve into Five's backstory, we learn that he was tasked with taking out specific individuals whose prolonged existence causes a threat to the world. When it comes to the President however, Five chooses to ignore orders and rebel.

This goes about as well as could be expected, and an entire squad of Temps are sent to take him out. Five wins the fight and moves on until confronted by Carmichael (The Handler in the TV series), who has taken Five's biological mother hostage, with the intention of killing her before Five is born if he does not comply.

It's likely Netflix will opt for a fictional president, rather than taking directly from the real world events of that tragic day. That being said, expect a lot of parallels to crop up.
