10 TV Shows That Ended In 2015

3. Parks And Recreation

In some ways, it's surprising that Parks and Recreation made it as far as it did. Although the show received a lot of critical praise - with the exception of its first season, at least - it constantly struggled in those all important Nielsen ratings, always outside of the top 100 ranked network series. The show, filmed in a single-camera mockumentary style similar to that of The Office, centred on the Parks department in Pawnee, a fictional Indiana town. It starred Amy Poehler as Lesley Knope, who works in the department, and featured a cast including Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, Aziz Ansari, and most notably Chris Pratt, who's done alright for himself since. It got to have a proper sendoff in 2015, with a shortened Season 7 (13 episodes instead of 22), and it's likely that appreciation for the series will continue to grow now that it's no longer with us.
