10 Amazing UFC Fights You Must Watch In February

10. Diego Sanchez Vs. Michel Pereira - UFC Fight Night 167

If you've been watching mixed martial arts since the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, then chances are you've probably got a bit of soft spot for Diego Sanchez. While every other member of the original cast has retired from the sport, Sanchez continues to take - and actually win - fights inside the Octagon.

However, despite his unquestionable durability and willingness to fight, the 38-year old really is a very strange fellow. Of course, mixed martial arts is full of strange individuals, but Sanchez is on a different level. After being a mainstay at the legendary Jackson-Winkeljohn camp for a number of years, he left the gym to go train at the School of Awareness under Josh Fabia, an awareness expert.

Now we won't profess to know exactly what an awareness coach is or how it will help Sanchez win a fight, but judging by his last performance against Michael Chiesa at UFC 239, Fabia certainly isn't improving his mixed martial arts skills in any way.

Sadly, for Sanchez, if that's the case, he might have a bit of a nightmare against wild striker, Michel Pereira. The Brazilian puts a wild pace on his opponents, rushing them from the beginning and hitting them from all angles with knees and elbows. If Sanchez has been busy strengthening his awareness instead of preparing for this fight, it could get messy very quickly.
