6. Preliminary Card Preview

We've got some really interesting fights on the UFC 240 prelims to keep fans ticking until the blockbuster main event. The fact that Alexandre Pantoja and Deiveson Figueiredo are facing each other on the undercard is enough of a reason to tune in.

The two Brazilian flyweights are extremely exciting and really get after it when they're in the Octagon. Figueiredo is the more dangerous striker of the two, using his Muay Thai to bust up his opponents in really devastating fashion.

Pantoja is a far more accomplished grappler than his opponent, and if his past showings in the Octagon are anything to go by, he'll be looking to take Figueiredo's back as soon as possible. He's got fantastic finishing skills, so if Figueiredo isn't careful, he could be on the end of a nasty submission.

There's also a very good match-up between accomplished strikers Hakeem Dawodu and Yoshinori Horie. Both men have finishing ability - although Dawodu hasn't shown much of that since he joined the UFC - so expect a fight that remains mostly on the feet.

Last but not least, keep an eye on the women's flyweight fight between Alexis Davis and Viviane Araujo. Araujo is a well-rounded finishing machine, but she's still relatively young when it comes to her MMA career. Davis is a veteran who has fought a who's who of female talent. It'll be fun to see if this is a passing of the guard or if Davis will be able to use her experience against her younger opponent..
