MVP's coveted free agent gimmick was instantly memorable when he made his main roster debut in August 2006. How he managed to develop those skills whilst also working as a policeman is anyone's guess.

Wait, what?

That's right: on the 13 January 2005 episode of SmackDown, MVP appeared as a policeman tasked with protecting Kurt Angle's precious Olympic gold medals. The one-off gig was a time killer before Angle started a program with Shawn Michaels at the Royal Rumble.

MVP didn't do much other than stand around holding a little box before watching Angle win his invitational exhibition match. Oh, for the record, Kurt's opponent that night? Future ROH Champion and NXT star Roderick Strong. It's a small world.
