10 AEW Vs. Impact Matches That COULD Happen

10. Abadon Vs. Su Yung

Is there a lazier cross-promotion fantasy booking trope than putting two similar gimmicks together? I'm fairly sure 'The Undertaker vs. Sting' was only a dream match for so long because they both had monochrome colours as a gimmick. Oh, and something about crows in cemeteries. In truth, the match would have sucked, and similar gimmick vs. similar gimmick rarely works as well as fans would like it to.

With that in mind, Abadon vs. Su Yung seems too obvious to ignore. The match itself might not be the sort of barnburner that Jordynne Grace vs. Britt Baker or Rosemary vs. Riho would be, but the thought of two absolute weirdos trying to out-weird each other is something that all pro wrestling cards should strive to include.

Abadon is going to be an absolute star. The Living Dead Girl has taken the horror movie gimmick to a whole new level, making previous incarnations seem positively amateur in comparison. Su Yung is included in that, but success speaks for itself. The Undead Bride is a 13-year veteran with two Impact Knockouts Championship reigns under her belt (she doesn't wear a belt). As long as Susie doesn't come out to face Abadon, this would be a lot of fun.
