10 AEW Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2021

10. Wardlow

Ever since his debut in AEW, Wardlow has been watching MJF's back through thick and thin, a role that he's tailored for. In spite of this, though, there's one thing every All Elite fan has been waiting for since day one: the moment 'Mr. Mayhem' finally lays out 'The Salt of the Earth'.

He has to, right?

It's a story AEW are very subtly alluding to throughout this whole MJF in The Inner Circle schtick. With every glance, you're left wondering, "When will Wardlow strike?". Because of how loathed the MJF character is, this is a story that needs a long, drawn-out arc before the pivotal boiling point for Wardlow. Keep in mind that, unlike his boss who forged his way into fans' heads long before his All Elite days, the big man is essentially a homegrown AEW talent.

2021 is undoubtedly the year Wardlow finally has enough, and sends MJF to his inevitable doom. Whether it happens on 1 January or 31 December, the moment Wardlow downs MJF will be the moment a star is truly born. He's got bags of potential as a babyface champion. Let's see that star power, baby.
